The closest airport is Aktion Airport (PVK) which is a 40 – 45 minute drive from Mimosa Retreat. There are several flights a week here from the U.K. Airlines such as British Airways, Ryan Air and Easy Jet to name a few. Flights depart from Newcastle, Belfast, Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol, London Heathrow, London Gatwick and London Stanstead.

April sees spring come to Lefkada, with the arrival of warmer, dryer weather and beautiful spring flowers covering the mountains. Daytime temperatures reach a high of 18°C (64°F), and the sun shines for up to 8 hours. Evening temperatures only drop down to a fairly mild 10°C (50°F). There is however a risk of rain during your stay, and as the evenings are cooler it would be a good idea to bring warmer clothing as well as beach wear.

May is the beginning of the summer season in Lefkada as temperatures really begin to warm up. Daytime temperatures reach up to around 22°C (72°F) and only fall to 14°C (57°F) in the evenings. There is a little chance of rain and 9 hours of sunshine each day.
June – August

The weather is glorious with very little chance of rain from June through to the end of August or September.
September

September is cooler than the preceding summer months but remains extremely warm in Lefkada. Daytime temperatures still reach 25°C (77°F) and in the evenings fall no lower than a very warm 18°C (64°F). Long hours of sunshine in September ensure that Lefkada is still the perfect place to host your retreat as the Autumn approaches.
October

October sees the tourist season begin to wind down and temperatures start to cool. It is still pleasantly warm however, with daytime highs of 22°C (72°F). Evenings remain mild, only dropping down to around 14°C (57°F). There is a risk of a little rain at this time of year, so packing a light jacket and warmer clothing for the evenings is a good idea. You can have the best of both worlds in Lefkada in October as the days are still warm enough for lounging in the sun and cool enough to head into the hills to do some trekking or walking meditations.
